Recommendations in the submission include:

• Trauma informed training for people working in aged care
• Aged Care Assessment processes to identify if someone has been in care as a child with clear guidelines and recommendations for aged care
• Increased flexibility and level of support for those who want to stay at home when very frail
• Exemption from aged care co-payments
• A funded peer support program located in Forgotten Australian Services
